Washington DC: Locating African American Freedom and Culture
We invite you to take a “geo” journey with us around Washington, D.C., a city built in no small part by slaves. We look at the deep roots of freedom and culture and the contradictions amidst this great American city. This is one project among many produced at National Black Programming Consortium’s New Media Institute ‘08.
